From Dharigaon to Srinagar to Indore to Boston. Says all of my origin to current destination. But since the day, I have set my foot out, life has never been same again. I would be glad to trade Boston's zazzy nights to Dharigaon's quite breezy nights. But, they say the village I left behind is no more same either, it has also changed a whole lot with the march of the time. The nights are no more breezy and the days are hotter. The source of water has also dried up. The pine trees on the way to the school are no more there either as they were too good to be there and the Timber Mafia has found them a better place in someone's attic. I wish, I never left my village and had helped it stay the same. Wouldn't my life be more meaningful?

I came to UK in 1974 to study my Ph.D. and since then I am in the UK. In 1989 I joined two other Directors to form our first company called Cardiff Chemicals and then in 1998 with four other people we set up another company called NEEM BIOTECH LIMITED. This new company is very active in the isolation and purification of plant products. We have worked on a number of similar plants which are grown in the Himalayas. I would like to set up an isolation plant any where in the region to isolate products like intermediate for the anticancer drug 'TAXOL', antimalarial drugs and many other medicines.
